Lyman And Denise
Our names are Lyman + Denise, and we are one of those cheesy “husband and wife” teams that thrives on working together side-by-side in all things. And as crazy as it sounds…we actually get along really well 97% of the time doing this!! We work together as Realtors, STR hosts, and most importantly we find our purpose in serving our Amazing God in everything we do.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending how you look at it, we were not able to have children of our own. However, we do have furry children – the 2 cute dogs shown in our profile pic! We had to cut through the noise of this crazy life and find God’s voice on what He wanted for our lives, if it wasn’t to raise children and grow a family. Eventually, we heard His plans loud and clear – and those plans were to serve Him by serving others in capacities different than we ever expected. We serve our clients in our day-to-day work, our family, friends, strangers, the homeless, and now we get to serve and provide good hospitality to our short-term rental guests! We try our best to steward our gifts in a way that is pleasing to Him, and we always try to find ways to help those in need.
Further, we are people who simply pour our hearts and souls into everything we do, and the way we care for our home and our guests is no exception. You will see our heart and soul displayed in our personal design of the home with its bold colors, fun mismatched patterns, dramatic wallpaper accents and unique art choices that scream ‘fun’ and ‘different.’ We feel that design provides the overall demeanor for any home. Every home has a personality and disposition to fearlessly display, just like us as humans. We want our home to constantly smile at our guests, and make our guests feel welcome and compelled to grin right back!! Simply put, we want our guests’ stay to feel restful and to cultivate joy, laughter and gratitude.
One thing we have learned in our journey through life thus far is that the only way we can feel completely grounded in this crazy life is to be grateful for what we have and for the blessings in our lives. Vacations and travel with family and/or friends can involve random chaos and small turmoil…that’s life! We have tried to implement small reminders throughout the home to remain grateful, to find humor amidst bleakness, and to sense how much God loves you! Even if you don’t believe in Him at all, we want you to know that He, and we, love all of our guests, and we pray for an amazing stay for them while in our home. We pray that our home is where marriages thrive, friendships grow, and family resolutions actually happen. The prayer and love that covers our home is what makes our home so special, in our humble opinion!
