This is Where Love Lives

Can you say pretty in pink WITHOUT the Barbie attitude or theme? I have never been a fan of Barbie. I was more of a “tomboy” when I was younger if I am being totally honest. My love for pink came from the opposite of boring and neutral, the opposite of sterile and sadness/depression. There was a time in my life that I only colored things (including my wardrobe) in black to remind myself of how depressed I was over not being able to have children. Jesus changed that! Jesus can change depression into joy and sorrow into the desire to have immense color and vibrance… and that is why this home has color. It is a reminder that we need Jesus to help us through EVERYTHING, and that we can have immeasurable joy even amid sadness. I am reminding myself of this at this very moment, struggling from my sister who recently committed suicide. God is worth Glory and Praise even during the worst moments of our lives. Someone needs to hear and receive that.

So… the interior colors resonate with the Joy of Jesus.

Upon opening the front door, you will be greeted with a kaleidoscope of vibrant hues that feels like a giant welcome hug! Look straight ahead to the living room, and you will be energized by the bold colors and intricate and impactful striped wallpaper ceiling. The Proverbs Verse neon sign illuminates the space as a reminder that our friendships (with close friends or spouse) are a real treasure and gift from God. We can be grateful for genuine connection, love, and nourishment for our souls. This room offers plenty of seating, with additional zebra striped bar stools that are thoughtfully positioned under a wall-mounted quartz bar extension in the room.

The wet bar overlooking the living room features celebration glassware for your special occasion, along with some wacky wild wallpaper of women in striped swimwear that compliments the striped patterns throughout this shared space.

The kitchen is definitely pink. From the cabinets to the ceiling to the toaster to the pots and pans. Loads of pink. Cuz, why not?! This kitchen is fearfully and wonderfully made! The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything you should need for dining casually or formally, both indoors and outdoors. There are even pink tumblers provided to keep your beverages cool while enjoying the pool.

The kitchen and living room both have great views of the pool and outdoor covered patio. It is truly a cozy space to enjoy with friends and loved ones… as the shared areas seamlessly transition, blurring the lines between the interior and surrounding environment.

The formal dining room features a flare of moodiness and ornate fun. The dining table is centered under a maze of flamboyant wallpaper and an elaborate glass chandelier, perfect for an intimate evening for conversation with friends or romanticizing the love of our life. The art in the room is very different and captivating and can be topics of discussion. The art above the coffee bar that reads “I Love You!” is a monstrosity of a reminder of how we can depend on Jesus and trust Him through our weakness and fragility. Jesus’ love is not contingent on strength or perfection. He embraces everyone in their weakness, offering forgiveness, compassion and the promise of His unfailing love! The elaborate coffee bar tops off the fun in this room. Inside the coffee buffet cabinet, you will find coffee mugs, a variety of tea options, and formal dinnerware including chargers for place settings.

All 3 bedrooms are uniquely and lavishly designed, while also having comfortable, luxurious mattresses & bedding, stylish bed frames, and individual wall-mounted televisions.

One bedroom is tiger-themed, accentuated by tiger stripes on the ceiling and the phrase on the wall “I’d Fight Tigers For You” that was inspired by a scene referenced by the Apostle Peter in ‘The Chosen’ when he is speaking about a wedding memory with his wife. There is one queen sized bed in this room.

The 2nd bedroom is simply playful and designed with hot pink walls, turquoise ceiling, and vibrant mustard velvet curtains. This room also features one queen sized bed.

There is a shared bathroom in the hallway between bedroom one and bedroom two. It is decorated quirkily with flamingo in heels wallpaper!

The 3rd bedroom (primary bedroom) is a romantic suite and is on the opposite side of the house from the other 2 bedrooms. This bedroom bleeds elegance, as the space was not just designed to be comfy and aesthetically pleasing but designed intentionally to evoke a deeper sense of emotional resonance and solace. From the soft textiles… to the color of the walls… to the shimmer reflection from the chandelier… this room was meant to be a retreat. The room also features two frosted sliding glass doors that lead to the primary bathroom.

The primary bathroom is playful with XOXO wallpaper and some comical wall art that will make you grin. The bathroom also features a deeper bathing tub, separate shower, and two full vanities with sinks and storage.

The primary bedroom closet is in this bathroom. In this closet, you will also find the 2 comfy rollaway twin beds and bedding.

This home is truly a beautiful mess!!
